Services Offered

Prenatal Services

During your prenatal period, The Bump and Beyond will offer two to four prenatal visits to discuss a birth plan, basic childbirth education and connection to resources.

Labor and Birth

During Labor and Delivery, physical and emotional support will be offered in the forms of advocacy, empowerment, birthing positions, and other forms of education.

Postpartum and Newborn Care

My job isn’t done once delivery is over. You will receive three postpartum visits to connect about emotional support, physical recovery, basic breastfeeding and other support needs.

Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is about making mothers ~ strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength.

Common Questions

What is a Doula?

A doula is a non-medical support person who aides in the support throughout your labor. This will include physical and emotional well-being in the forms of comfort measures, positioning, massage, advocacy and empowerment.

Birth doulas accompany families on their journey toward a safe and satisfying birth experience. We draw on professional training, knowledge, and experience to provide emotional support, physical comfort and, at times, communication with staff to help you make informed decisions as they arise in pregnancy and labor. We provide reassurance and perspective to you and your partner, make suggestions for labor progress, and help with relaxation, soothing touch, positioning, & other techniques for comfort.

Do you take payment plans?

YES! A non-refundable down-payment is required to hold your spot on-call for your birth during your due date timeline. (37-42 weeks)

Final payment is due by 36 weeks.

Payments can be discussed at the initial meet and greet!

When should I reach out to you?

Any time you begin thinking about a doula. Reach out at any time!

The Bump and Beyond offers a FREE consultation to discuss your goals and plans for labor. This will also be a formal meet and greet to determine if you’d like me to serve as your support person during your pregnancy and postpartum.

This service will be 1 hour long and can be conducted via zoom, in person at your home, or location of your choice.

What if I can't afford a doula?

Please do not hesitate to reach out. Arrangements can be discussed.
